Torre del Benaco
It is simply wonderful to be back in this beautiful town. This was the only town we had been able to visit several years ago on our first trip to the east side of Lago Di Garda. It made such an impression that we knew we had to return and really explore. And, here we are at last.
We were able to take a room in this hotel (Albergo Gardesana) - second floor far right. Cocktails under one of the umbrellas.

And we dive in. This is a chicken salad ala Benaco. Perfect air temperature. Good bottle of Pinot Gregio on ice. Two or three hours of chitchat, great food and fun.
