Florella

Flo with Edith and Abbi. She is our Italian sister/daughter. Has been for many years.

Then Flo met this great guy Adrian in Paris, and they became a team.

Some time later, they came to visit us in Benabbio.

And they brought along a superb collection of French wines for our comparison with Italian wine. We really like both!

After a great couple of days visit they head back to Paris in their "new" car.

Soon thereafter Amarilli is introduced to the world!

We visit them to enjoy the new arrival.

Amarilli wanted to join in the street demonstrations!

When we meet again in April of 2008, Amarilli has become a beautiful young girl.

About a year later we visit with Florella and family in Milan, where they now have a nice apartment near the Stazione Centrale. Flo takes us to her favorite restaurant, Trattoria Mirta, located about 10 minutes away from their apartment. Can you see the baby carrige? That's for Milo, their new son.

This is a very special restaurant, and the menu deserves serious study.

Look how big Amarilli has become!

Papa gives some instructions for working on her puzzle.

And Flo introduces us to her friend Juan, the Chef. Flo, a very accomplished Sous Chef, worked with Juan for several years in this restaurant, and they remain good friends. Lucky for us, as the meal and conversations with all were superb!

The dessert menu also takes some serious study. Amazing choices. Throughout the meal Milo has been happily asleep in his carrier on the floor.

And in 2010, a visit to help celebrate Kai's Baptism. Good reason for a reunion.

Casual time waiting for the burgers. Hurry up, Steve!

No shortage of fun and noise.

Formal potrait of the Baptism group. Another good job by Father Norman.

Seems like too long ago.

Gosh, look how big Amarilli has grown.

And look at handsome Milo. Its time for us to make another visit!
